the ask

Redesign the company website, enhancing its visual appeal and adding value to Solo60 customers and partners. In addition, we are tasked with forming a product squad to build the new mobile app.

Formed a UX/UI and front-end squad to work in an agile way for 6 months + automatic renewal.

Outcomes

Created a team of two part-time UX/UI freelancers who each have another job aside 

Delivered new design assets by specific milestones

Added two software engineers who had done work with the designers previously

Allowed the client to scale the project step by step

The development process was agile adaptive and included leveraging A/B testing in order to make adjustments rapidly against assumptions.

The two squads followed a Kanban and Lean approach to design, build, test & integrate fast. The initial squad size was a team of 3, which increased overtime to a team of 6 individuals - 3 full-time and 3 part-time.
